What's in the TAA Toolkit?
There are 7 sections containing over 200 files on the CD.

1. Qualification structure and hours Section 1 contains the qualification rules, units and nominal hours from three states that are used as reference points across Australia.

2. Delivery options - sample training programs Section 2 contains sample training programs set up for different markets and target groups with units by field and/or suggested clusters. RTOhelp has suggested face to face hours plus workplace practice hours and project hours that build to address nominal hours. There are very few if any places where you will see this type of advice on implementation. This is the RTOhelp model and not recommended by any "authority", but we know that most RTO's are keen to see how other people would package a new qualification.

3. The "essentials" from each unit of competency Section 3 contains unit extracts in Word and Excel formats. These do not replace the full unit of competency but they help you get your head around each unit, the connections between units and clusters.
4. Cluster of units of competency Section 4 contains unit extracts in one text document. There are also fields or clusters with combined elements and specific evidence requirements that help you make sense of the requirements for integrated delivery and holistic assessment.
Good for marketing, on websites and summary information in manuals.
5. Assessment planners and matrixes - by TAA field and clusters
Section 5 contains assessment planners in excel format. Fill in the tables with your list of assessment activities to plan and demonstrate how the activities and supporting tools address the units/elements. Use these matrixes to address validity of your assessment plan and the rules of evidence - valid, current, authentic and sufficient plus the dimensions of competency. These planners have been tried and tested and met the requirements of the TAA04 addition to scope of registration in all States and Territories across Australia. Very, very useful!

6. Staff matrix A handy table to enter the details of staff nominated to deliver by unit of competency.
7. Recognition templates
This section contains a suite of documents that can be used without modification by just adding your cover page and some policy details. There is an RPL guide, evidence planner, evidence summary matrix and RPL portfolio cover page.
Again, the RPL Guide has already been successfully tried and tested many times throughout Australia
The recognition materials have been designed around all TAA40104 units of competency and address the more rigorous specific evidence requirements of this Training Package. They are in text format and can be adapted to import into your existing RPL documents.
It is simply not possible to do all this work within your organisation at this price! The RTO Toolkit is not complex. The beauty of the CD is it's simplicity and practical application for different staff.
The price includes a license to use and adapt the files within the organisation but please do not copy and pass it on to other organisations.
