Each BSB07 Assessment Pack covers one unit of competency and contains the following components:
Start Here: Introduction
Here are the instructions on the use and customisation of the Pack. There is a customisation checklist to help you adapt materials for your RTO.
Assessor Guide
The Assessor Guide is written for every unit of competency. It includes:
- Assessment Mapping - a document that maps the assessment project tasks and exam questions to elements, performance criteria and the evidence guide. This mapping supports validation and auditing.
- Assessment Project -Assessor instructions on how to conduct the project plus template marking and feedback forms.
- Exam - Knowledge Test-Assessor instructions and a marking guide and every questions has a model answer for consistency and easy marking.
- Required Skills and Required Knowledge checklists
- Employability skills checklist (add details for specific qualification)
- An RPL Assessment Tool and Candidate Portfolio Document
- An RPL evidence record for the RPL Assessor
- Record of Assessment Outcomes (A final results sheet for the unit)
Assessment Project
The project includes:
- Instructions for the candidate
- Specific tasks based on each unit element
- Checklists for each task
- A case study (some units) or information regarding relevant texts.
The projects are all practically focused. You can customize the project by deciding if it is separated into sequential tasks or completed as one project. You set the date for submission and feedback process.
Knowledge Test (Examination)
The knowledge test is a bank of questions drawn from the unit of competency.
It includes:
- Instructions for the candidate
- The exam questions (with marks indicated).
